, a Business Developer for Universem, tells you about his job

Anthony Iglesias joined the Universem team in May 2016. He started as Digital Marketing Team Leader, coordinating a team of several Digital Marketing Consultants. After a few highly successful months as Team Leader, and thanks to many years’ experience in Key Account management, Anthony accepted a new challenge: to help Universem to accelerate its growth! He was appointed Business Developer, deploying his passion for Digital Marketing to serve our clients via a more sales-orientated approach.

UNIVERSEM: ‘ANTHONY, how would you describe your job at UNIVERSEM?’

Anthony: ‘It’s a key position, given that we are in an ever-evolving business sector and that our company is enjoying constant growth! Beyond the ‘position’ you occupy within the organisation, as a Business Developer you must act as a genuine ‘driving force’ for growth in order to help Universem to continue its development. As such, you represent Universem for the outside world and clients; you generate contact in different ways, either by phone, by participating in networking events, or by sales prospection, and you discuss their needs via a consultative approach.’

UNIVERSEM: ‘How would you describe your typical day at work?’

Anthony: ‘For a Business Developer, a typical day is a day of human contact. Either with prospects, who will later become clients, or with colleagues during the ‘pre-sales’ phase, with partners during project implementation, or with other people during training courses or the many novelties that Digital Marketing intrinsically generates; yes, the job involves a great deal of contact.’

Anthony: ‘You are happy to work at Universem because it offers a very pleasant working environment, thanks in particular to our shared frame of mind, focusing on excellence and the desire to go the extra mile.
